About the Role

GAP Consulting is seeking a qualified Underground Electrician to join our team. As an experienced electrician in the mining industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of underground electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure system safety and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with other teams to implement electrical solutions that meet project requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years proven Underground experience as a Qualified Electrician in the Mining Industry
• Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate: Red Seal | Section 13 | Artisan essential
• Strong knowledge of Hydro Systems will be beneficial
• Valid medically fit for underground work certificate essential
• Contactable references and payslips required

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary of between R 35 000 and R 50 000 negotiable based on experience.
