About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our client’s team at a leading logistics company based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and drive data-based decision making for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze data from various sources within the organization
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and visualizations
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the reports and dashboards
Optimize and streamline existing reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability
Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve the reporting capabilities of the organization

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI in a business intelligence or analytics role
Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying
Experience with data modeling and building complex Power BI reports and dashboards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
