About the Role
Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Chemistry Lab Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analytical testing, calibrating and maintaining equipment, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately analyse samples supplied to the laboratory to the specifications
- Calibrate, verify and maintain laboratory equipment
- Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
- Ensure all reagents are correctly prepared, dated, labelled, stored and maintained at sufficient levels
- Conduct analytical testing using IC, HPLC, GC, IR, pH and Viscometer
- Ensure that reference standards are correctly stored and maintained
- Carry out QA checks and supporting other departments with quality related Functions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in chemistry or related scientific field with major chemistry
- 1 year experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with GLP, GMP and ISO 22716 standards added advantage
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and accuracy skills
- Time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Witten and verbal communication skills for documenting and reporting results
