About the Role
Profile Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 3-month contract basis in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
- Conduct site visits and monitor progress
- Estimate costs and prepare tender documents
- Plan and coordinate subcontracting activities
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and financial performance
Requirements
- Relevant BSc / Btech or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Project Management
- Registered with SACPCMP, or eligible to register
- At least 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager/ Construction Manager in medium to large companies
- Sound experience as a contracts manager and quantity surveyor in General Buildings (GB), Electrical Works (EB), Mechanical Works (ME), Civil Works (CE) and Structural Works
- Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of relevant software (Microsoft, CCS and Xero)
- Ability to estimate costs accurately
Qualifications
- Valid South African Drivers licence
