About the Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our finance function in Cape Town City Centre. As a full-ownership finance leader, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy, managing cost control and financial performance, and overseeing the end-to-end finance function. This is a hands-on, high-visibility opportunity that requires a solutions-driven, commercially intelligent leadership approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the financial strategy that underpins growth and long-term success
- Monitor and improve cost control, margins, and financial performance
- Manage cash flow, capital, and assets with precision
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and audit readiness
- Oversee the end-to-end finance function with a focus on excellence
- Identify financial and operational risks before they escalate
- Partner with senior leadership on strategy, planning, and key business decisions
- Own revenue planning, financial modelling, and forecasting
Requirements
- BCom Accounting/Finance qualification (non-negotiable)
- 5 years accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Financial Manager or senior finance leadership capacity
- Solutions-driven, commercially intelligent leadership approach
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance detail with big-picture strategy
