About the Role
Our Client, a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor, requires an experienced Site Agent / Construction Manager to take full responsibility for multiple civil infrastructure and services projects across the Western Cape. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to a disciplined construction professional who understands delivery, quality, programme, and cost control within civil services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Full site management from establishment through to handover
- Programme planning, execution, and control
- Management of site teams, subcontractors, and plant
- Quality control in accordance with project specifications
- Health & Safety compliance (SHEQ)
- Cost control, progress reporting, and coordination with Engineers & QS
- Liaison with Clients, Consultants, and Local Authorities
Requirements
Minimum 8+ years experience in civil construction / infrastructure
Proven experience in civil services, sewer & water reticulation projects
Strong leadership and site management capability
Sound knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing, and site logistics
Valid drivers licence
Ability to work across multiple Western Cape project locations
Qualifications
- ECSA registration (essential)
- SACPCPM registration (desirable)
Salary & Benefits
Market-related salary package based on experience relative to previous packages earned
