About the Role
The Procurement Officer/Junior Buyer will play a vital role in supporting the procurement department in sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating competitive terms, and managing the entire purchasing process for property development and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify reliable suppliers for building materials and maintenance contracts
- Negotiate competitive terms with suppliers
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for property development and maintenance projects
- Collaborate closely with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and site teams to ensure uninterrupted flow of high-quality materials
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in procurement of building materials/building maintenance contracts
- Matric certificate (or equivalent)
- Own transport
