About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Reliable Transformers. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and longevity of our transformers by applying high-performance coatings to transformer tanks, core clamps, tank lids, and other steel components.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and apply protective coatings according to technical and customer specifications using spray painting equipment.
- Inspect painted components for defects such as peeling, bubbling, or uneven coverage; make corrective adjustments as needed.
- Maintain and clean spray guns, hoses, and booths; report malfunctions or required maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with the quality assurance team to meet IEC standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of paint use, application techniques, and process issues.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free from hazards.
