About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Salvage Supervisor to join our team at Steelpoort, responsible for overseeing salvage yard processes and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily operations of the salvage yard
- Supervise and coordinate waste management activities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, waste license, and related regulations
- Manage and maintain accurate records of salvage operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in environmental or waste management
- Good understanding and knowledge of salvage yard processes
- Computer literacy required
- Valid code 10 (C1) drivers license required
- Minimum 3 years of progressive supervisory experience within waste operations or environmental management in mining industry or similar environment
