About the Role
SA Metal is seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of the Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in managing customer price sheets, maintaining financial reports and records, and providing administrative support to the team. Key Responsibilities
- Administration and managing of customer price sheet
- Maintaining price changes and distribution thereof
- Issuing of contract numbers
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports and records as required by the Finance Department
- Interest calculations
- Reconciliations of debtor accounts and inventory reports
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager
- Providing general administrative support to the Finance team
Requirements
- Administration experience
- Financial reporting and record-keeping skills
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office, internet, and e-mail
- Excel is compulsory
- Experience with ACCPAC (highly preferable)
- Knowledge of accounting practices, principles, and financial data reporting
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of an NQF Level 6 qualification (Diploma) in Finance or equivalent
- 3 years working experience in Accounting (up to Trial Balancing)
- Computer literate MS Office, internet, and e-mail Excel is compulsory
- ACCPAC experience highly preferable
- Knowledge of accounting practices, principles, and reporting of financial data
