About the Role
Our client in the Agricultural industry is seeking a well-experienced Workshop Manager and Diesel Mechanic candidate to join their fast-growing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading diesel mechanic duties and managing the workflow for both internal and external repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on mechanical work as leading Diesel Mechanic
- Administering the workflow within the workshop and on the field between yourself and staff members
- Ensuring good document control and database capturing
- Ensuring repairs are completed timeously and correctly
- Managing the workshop staff and ensuring full utilisation of available labour resources
- Ensuring ordering of parts (procurement) is carried out effectively
- Implementing and sustaining management systems and supply technical feedback and reporting
- Maintaining a high level of safety, discipline, and housekeeping in the workshop
Requirements
- Matric
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Must be a Qualified Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic with at least 8 years experience
- Must have experience in maintaining Trucks and Trailers
- Must have experience in Procurement
- Must have experience in Managing a workshop and staff
