About the Role
We are seeking an Outbound Sales Agent Lead Generation specialist to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales EOIs or live transfers by cold calling Australian households, promoting various insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls using a given phone directory to sell products and promote services.
- Utilize scripts to provide information about product features, prices, and benefits.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas through effective telemarketing and customer service skills.
- Work efficiently with relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role.
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
- Persistent and results-oriented.
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
