About the Role
FROGG Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Fraud & Compliance Analyst to join our client’s team in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in fraud detection, investigation, and compliance roles, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor transactions and activities to identify unusual patterns or anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity.
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraud cases and document findings.
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and controls.
- Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those specific to South Africa.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks related to fraud and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on fraud investigations and compliance audits for management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance and fraud-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fraud detection, investigation, and compliance roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CFE, CAMS) is advantageous.
