About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Dairy Manager to join our team, assisting in the daily operations of our dairy farm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dairy farming and possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in daily farm operations
- Monitor herd health and reproduction
- Supervise farm staff and provide training as needed
- Implement breeding and feeding programs
- Calf rearing
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Strong passion for dairy farming
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of dairy farming practices (training provided)
Qualifications
- Formal education in agriculture, veterinary science, or related field
- Relevant experience in dairy farming or a related industry
