About the Role
A Senior Social Worker position is available at a newly established in-patient alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre in Soshanguve, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to clients undergoing rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Social Workers in the delivery of rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
- Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing computer literacy skills
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Valid registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in social work, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
- Experience in supervision of Social Workers
- Proficiency in English
- Valid driver’s license
