About the Role
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to take ownership of our defined territory in Polokwane, growing market share and building strong customer relationships. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who thrives in a target-driven, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance within your allocated territory through structured planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and support lead generation efforts.
- Conduct daily field visits to maximise territory coverage and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams including business development, marketing, and customer success.
- Ensure strong brand visibility and execution of marketing initiatives in your region.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market insights.
- Track and report on sales performance and conversion metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Support operational compliance, including fleet and administrative requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related field. Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills. Ability to analyse market trends and competitor activity. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take ownership of a territory.
Qualifications
Grade 12 qualification (tertiary qualification advantageous).
