A leading Asset Management powerhouse in Johannesburg North is looking for a high-calibre Head of Reporting who lives in the detail but thinks in strategy. This is not a tick-box reporting role. This is ownership. Influence. Leadership. You will take full responsibility for financial and regulatory reporting across the business, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, integrity, and board-level confidence. You understand asset management structures, complex instruments, and the pressure that comes with tight deadlines and even tighter scrutiny. This role requires someone who has done it before. Properly. In an asset management environment. Someone who can lead a team, engage auditors, present to EXCO, and sleep well knowing every number reconciles. What you will own: – Full financial reporting function – Regulatory and statutory reporting – Oversight of AFS and board reporting packs – Technical IFRS implementation and updates – Audit liaison and stakeholder engagement – Leadership and development of the reporting team We are looking for: – CA(SA) or equivalent qualification – 812 years post-articles experience – Proven asset management or investment industry experience – Strong technical IFRS and regulatory knowledge – Leadership track record managing high-performing teams – Exceptional attention to detail with strategic insight This is a visible, senior leadership role for someone who wants to operate at the top of their game within a respected financial services environment.
