About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Reservationist to join their Central Reservations Office team at a beautiful Luxury Country House in Hazyview. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing online bookings, rate management, and channel control.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing online bookings across platforms including Apply Below, Expedia, Agoda, Travel Ground, AfriStay, Wetu and more
- Biannual content reviews of all online channels
- Monitoring occupancy and adjusting specials accordingly
- Processing payments and handling 7 day pre arrival procedures
- Maintaining excellent relationships with online agents and tour operators
- Assisting with reporting, weekly planners and reservation administration
- Supporting the Reservations Manager and Assistant Reservations Manager
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Reservationist experience within a Hotel or Lodge environment
- Strong knowledge of online booking channels and channel management
- Experience with rate loading, rate parity and specials
- Confident handling extranet communication and financial queries
- Experience working with SiteMinder and Apply Below
- Understanding of OXI interface and booking integrations
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R6,500 – R8,500 per month (live out)
