About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our team in Durban, KZN. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving targets in the wood, carton, and plastic industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing existing and new customers effectively by maintaining a regular call pattern
- Forming a dynamic business relationship with existing as well as new customers
- Acquire new customers and new business
- Increase sales at existing customers
- Ensure that customers always have sufficient stock
- Problem solving
- Maintain a professional business attitude in all daily transactions
- Maintain sound administration practices (i.e. reports)
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: Grade 12
- A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous
- Proven experience in managing key accounts worth more than R10 million per annum
- Minimum 5 years industrial product selling and applications experience
- Knowledge of water-based solvents, and chemicals advantageous
