About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Reserve and Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of reserve management at our 5* game lodge in Upington, Northern Cape. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our 10,000 hectare reserve, which features free-roaming game and rescued animals in separate enclosures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of reserve management
- Supervise a small team
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including roads maintenance, fencing, fauna, flora, animal feeding, and anti-poaching measures
- Ensure stable work record with no job hoppers considered
Requirements
- Related qualification: Trade test in Electrical minimum or N6
- Minimum 2 years as a reserve manager on a property of over 10,000 hectare
- Further 4 years experience as a Maintenance Manager at a resort
- Hands-on experience with regards to roads maintenance, fencing, fauna, flora, animal feeding, and anti-poaching
