About the Role
The Utilities Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimising utilities infrastructure across FPG’s commercial property portfolio and development projects, ensuring efficient utility design, cost management, compliance, and sustainability across assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee utilities infrastructure across commercial property developments (electrical, water, sewer, stormwater, backup power, etc.)
- Provide engineering input during property development feasibility, design, and construction phases
- Manage service providers, consultants, and contractors
- Optimise energy and water consumption across the portfolio
- Drive sustainability and cost-efficiency initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and municipal approvals
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure operational reliability of utilities infrastructure
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical)
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in:
- Property development
- Commercial property environment
- Utilities infrastructure (electrical, civil services, bulk services)
