About the Role
Izwe Placements is seeking a highly skilled Stores Assistant to join their team in Germiston. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stores management, with a strong background in trailer manufacturing or engineering. If you are detail-oriented and proficient in basic reporting, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store operations, including inventory control and stock management
- Process invoices, requisitions, and basic reports
- Maintain accurate records of job cards, stock codes, and warehouse systems
- Conduct forklift operations and perform other tasks as required
Requirements
- Matric Certificate in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
- 13 years stores experience, preferably in trailer manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience dealing with invoices, requisitions, and basic reporting
- Basic computer literacy in MS Office
- Ability to understand invoices, requisitions, job cards, and stock codes
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (if applicable)
