? Head Guide | Luxury Private Wildlife Reserve | Kalahari ? Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a highly experienced and passionate Head Guide for a prestigious Luxury Private Wildlife Reserve in the Kalahari. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level guide with extensive five-star experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep commitment to conservation and guest engagement in one of South Africas most unique wilderness environments. ? Key Responsibilities ? Lead, mentor, and manage a team of guides and trackers to ensure consistently exceptional guest experiences ? Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris, delivering insightful and professional interpretation of the natural environment ? Uphold the highest standards of safety, guest interaction, and professionalism ? Facilitate the ongoing training and development of junior guides and support team members ? Ensure all guiding vehicles, equipment, and rifles are properly maintained and in excellent condition ? Oversee scheduling, vehicle allocation, and coordination of guest activities ? Collaborate with lodge management to enhance the overall guest experience and operational performance ? Promote and contribute to the reserves conservation ethos and responsible tourism principles Requirements ? FGASA Level 3 with Full Lead Trails Guide qualification (non-negotiable) ? Valid ARH, First Aid Level 2, Drivers Licence, and PDP ? DEAT/THETA registered and legally compliant ? Minimum 5 years experience as a Head Guide or in a senior guiding role, specifically within a 5-star luxury environment ? Proven leadership, team management, and training capabilities ? Strong knowledge of the African bush and excellent interpretive guiding skills ? High level of professionalism, guest service orientation, and personal presentation ? Comfortable working in a remote, off-grid environment with extended work cycles ? Package Salary: Negotiable DOE ? Accommodation: Live-in position ?
