Job Description
- Design civil and structural elements for buildings, sites, and steel and concrete structures within electricity network projects
- Act as the Civil/Structural discipline engineer within project teams
- Develop preliminary concepts into fully engineered basic and detailed construction designs
- Prepare technical specifications and STABU documentation
- Request and evaluate supplier and contractor quotations
- Execute upgrades, extensions, and modifications to existing facilities, as well as new-build projects
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, guidelines, and engineering best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Civil or Structural Engineer/Designer, preferably within project-based environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Native Afrikaans speaker
