About the Role
A leading construction company specializing in high-rise and commercial builds is seeking a skilled Foreman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, managing subcontractors and staff, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage subcontractors, site staff, and suppliers to maintain workflow and project timelines.
- Enforce safety standards and quality control measures on-site.
- Report progress, challenges, and updates to the Site Manager and senior leadership.
- Assist in problem-solving and decision-making to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman in construction, preferably on high-rise or commercial projects.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Solid knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Johannesburg-based, with flexibility to work on various project sites.
