Job Description
You’ll be part of an energetic IT operations team responsible for supporting essential business systems and handling escalations that require deeper technical insight. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting, systems administration, service delivery, and ongoing improvements to the IT environment. You’ll operate within Microsoft ecosystems, engage with cloud-driven technologies, and follow ITIL-aligned processes that shape reliable IT service across the organisation.
? Key Duties & Daily Impact
- Resolve second-line incidents across desktops, servers, applications, and network layers
- Support core network infrastructure including VLANs, routers, switches, and VPNs
- Conduct routine system updates, patching, preventative maintenance, and monitoring
- Apply ITIL methodologies across incidents, problems, changes, and service requests
- Collaborate closely with L1 analysts and escalate effectively to senior technical teams
? Your Expertise
- 3–5 years of hands-on L2 support experience in a corporate environment
- Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure Fundamentals/Administrator, or equivalent)
- Strong grasp of Windows operating systems, AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and GPO
- Experience with cloud-enabled environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid setups)
- Solid understanding of networking basics and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, routing, wireless)
- Exposure to ITIL principles with practical application in daily support
