Job Description

Are you a skilled Python and Odoo Developer who enjoys building reliable, scalable ERP solutions? Were looking for an experienced Software Developer to help design, customise, and support our Odoo ERP platform while working closely with internal teams and external development partners.

What Youll Do

  • Develop, customise, and enhance Odoo ERP modules aligned to business needs
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python and XML code
  • Collaborate with external development partners through peer code reviews and testing
  • Manage code repositories using Git, including branching and merging
  • Support ERP releases and deployments to staging and production environments
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise ERP modules and database performance
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement initiatives

What Youll Bring

  • Grade 12 and a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Odoo Developer Certification
  • Python Certification (PCEP or PCAP)
  • 68 years Python development experience
  • 46 years hands-on Odoo development experience
  • Strong PostgreSQL and Git expertise
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Technical Skills

  • Odoo Framework (ORM, modules, web controllers)
  • Python & PostgreSQL
  • API development (XML-RPC / JSON-RPC)
  • Unit testing, debugging, and code reviews
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
