About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing the sales process, and building lasting relationships with clients within the cyber security industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute outbound sales activities to engage potential clients.
- Explain the company’s cyber security services and solutions to decision-makers.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients.
- Manage the complete sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal divisions to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Identify and prospect new potential clients.
- Develop a pipeline of potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
Requirements
- A strong IT or Cyber Security background is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales (specifically ‘Solution Selling’).
- Proven experience in cyber security solutions sales.
- Computer literate, CRM experience.
- Good understanding of cyber security, especially in operational technology will be beneficial.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role.
Salary & Benefits
The salary range is R40,000 – R50,000 per annum.
