About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Events and Promotions Manager to join our team at a 4-star resort in Secunda. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing promotions and events across various areas of the resort, including hotel, casino, and convention spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement casino and hospitality promotions, competitions, and activations.
  • Plan a relevant and financially viable entertainment calendar aimed at relevant target markets.
  • Implement and manage the Rewards Programme, including collateral, awareness, promotional strategies, events, local partnerships, customer relationship management, and fulfilment.
  • Be involved in communication of CSI initiatives and related Public Relations (including social media).
  • Deliver superior revenue results within budget.
  • Create an exciting and engaging environment for resort guests.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Marketing management role, preferably in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365, including above average computer and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Innovation and creativity, with attention to detail is a key attribute of this position.

  • Grade12
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma
