About the Role
Our client, a well-established player in the engineering and electrical solutions space, is seeking a driven and commercially minded Accounts Manager to join their senior management team. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function within a division, working closely with the CEO and operational leaders to improve financial performance and ensure sound decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of monthly financial reporting, including analysis of financial performance and balance sheet reviews
- Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and CAPEX / OPEX tracking
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls, including audit processes
- Driving profitability through cost control, financial insights, and strategic support to operational managers
- Managing stakeholder relationships, including auditors, SARS, banks, and internal leadership
- Leading and developing the finance team to ensure high performance and adherence to deadlines
Requirements
- Education: BCom Accounting or related qualification (essential)
- Experience: Minimum 35 years experience in a finance environment
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Exposure to managing or mentoring staff will be advantageous
