About the Role
VF! Shopper Marketing Agency is a dynamic shopper marketing agency that shapes what consumers and shoppers do, helping our clients’ brands win at the moment of choice. We currently have an exciting opportunity based at our Johannesburg office for a motivated Logistics Intern to join our Operations team and gain hands-on experience in project coordination, manufacturing logistics, and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and Operations team with the coordination of manufacturing and logistics activities.
- Assist in tracking project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
- Help monitor project progress and flag potential delays or operational challenges.
- Maintain organised records of project documentation including reports, meeting notes, and project updates.
- Assist in coordinating communication between internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Support the tracking of production orders, deliveries, and supplier timelines.
- Help monitor inventory movements and logistics schedules related to projects.
- Assist with supplier communication and documentation when required.
- Maintain accurate project files, documentation, and operational records.
- Assist with preparing project status reports and operational updates.
- Support the operations team with data capturing and internal reporting.
- Ensure project documentation and communication are properly recorded and stored.
- Assist the operations team in identifying potential risks or delays within project timelines.
- Support basic troubleshooting activities related to logistics coordination.
- Contribute ideas to improve operational processes and project coordination efficiency.
