About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Cape Town. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality interior design projects that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings and detailing for interior design projects
- Compile specification sheets for materials and finishes
- Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to create 2D and 3D designs
- Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of work
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects
Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in the interior design industry (no recent graduates)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and detailing
- Proven experience compiling specification sheets
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in Interior Design or a related field (if applicable)
