About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical/Mechatronic Design Engineer to lead our Centurion SA division, responsible for developing and designing commercial products and sub-systems. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be required to design from first principles, improve existing products, and deliver end-to-end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development to service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and guide design engineers on technical-related issues
- Engineering Project Management
- Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules
- Design reviews and integration CAD design
- Product Data Management (3D modelling and creation of 2D drawings)
- Product support and project execution
Requirements
- B.Eng or BSc or BTech degree in either Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design, preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment
