Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Web Developer to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng on a project based contract.
Responsibilities:
- Website Development: Building and customizing WordPress sites using themes and plugins.
- Theme/Plugin Development: Creating or modifying themes and plugins.
- Site Maintenance: Regular updates for security and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Fixing functionality and security issues.
- SEO Optimization: Enhancing site visibility in search engines.
- Responsive Design: Ensuring sites are mobile-friendly.
- Performance Optimization: Improving site speed and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Working with designers and content creators.
- Client Support: Training clients on site management.
- Security Practices: Implementing measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Content Management: Assisting with content organization within WordPress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in web development
- Extensive WordPress experience
- Strong understanding of responsive design and web accessibility
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
