About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Graaff-Reinet Lodge. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be extremely comfortable hosting guests, and oversee a small team. This is a live-in position that requires a warm, approachable, and service-oriented personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Host guests comfortably and provide excellent customer service
- Oversee a small team and ensure smooth lodge operations
- Maintain high levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Manage property booking systems and MS Office
- Provide reliable and honest solutions under pressure
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years lodge or hospitality experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational ability and high attention to detail
- Computer literacy: MS Office, email, and property booking systems
- Professional appearance and self-motivated
- Comfortable overseeing the team
