About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Broker Assistant to join our fast-growing financial advisory practice in Johannesburg. As the power behind the throne, you will be responsible for managing admin, client service, compliance, and pipeline management with Olympic-level finesse. If you enjoy structure, efficiency, and a good checklist, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on leads like a friendly-but-persistent detective.
- Book advisor appointments that turn into actual business.
- Drive annual and bi-annual client review schedules (Google Calendar is your kingdom).
- Identify cross-selling opportunities before the advisor even finishes their sentence.
- Keep the XPlan pipeline pristine.
- Manage KYC/FICA with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process amendments, switches, transfers, and policy changes without errors.
- Prepare client documents that are organised and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and TCF standards.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in a financial planning / insurance / investment support environment.
- XPlan experience (non-negotiable).
- Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and TCF.
- Confident with client engagement, including outbound calling.
- Obsessed with accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven environment.
Qualifications
Matric required. RE5 or relevant Wealth Management qualification beneficial but not essential.
