About the Role
We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic General Workers to join our team at Kethelo Group in Durban. As a key member of our produce department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and our store remains well-merchandised.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in the produce department in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring produce displays are neat, replenished, and attractively merchandised
- Checking the quality and freshness of fruits and vegetables
- Removing expired, damaged, or poor-quality stock
- Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting the team with general store duties when required
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of produce handling and storage
- Physical ability to lift up to 25kg
