About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Inspector with a strong focus on IT to join our team at Six Sense Consulting in Gauteng. As an integral part of our audit practice, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality audits and providing expert technical advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct external statutory audits with a focus on IT systems and controls
- Analyse the performance of Information Technology General Controls and Application control audits against industry standards and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Provide critical audit opinions and recommendations to clients
- Develop and maintain expertise in current and emerging technologies used in the audit process, including data query and analysis, automation and robotics technologies, and blockchain technologies
- Collaborate with quality control reviews or audit technical support teams as needed
Requirements
- CA (SA) qualification with at least 6 years post qualification experience in external statutory audits
- RA registration / Eligibility to register as an RA is advantageous
- Private sector / IFRS audit experience essential
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification with full ISACA membership (CPD up to date)
- At least 5 years IT Audit related experience within an external audit firm
- Quality control reviews or audit technical support will be advantageous
- Minimum at a Senior Manager level or equivalent position in an auditing environment

- Formal education/certifications: CA (SA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
