About the Role

The Credit Origination Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit origination lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of well-structured, client-centric credit solutions aligned with the bank’s risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the end-to-end credit origination process for Corporate and Commercial clients, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and client needs.

* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, stress testing, and sector-specific risk assessments.

* Structure and deliver tailored credit solutions, including risk mitigation strategies and deal structuring.

* Prepare and present high-quality credit proposals to credit committees and senior stakeholders.

* Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and credit governance frameworks, while driving continuous improvement in processes and turnaround times.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

* Postgraduate qualification (Honours, Master’s, MBA) or professional certifications such as CFA, CA, CIMA, or Credit Risk Certification will be advantageous.

* 5–7 years’ experience in credit risk, credit origination, or Corporate/Commercial banking.

* Proven expertise in credit analysis, financial modelling, and deal structuring.

* Strong understanding of banking regulations, credit policies, and risk management frameworks.

* Experience engaging with credit committees, senior stakeholders, and clients.

* Industry exposure to sectors such as agriculture, mining, construction, manufacturing, logistics, financial services, or oil & gas will be highly advantageous.

* Strong analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities.
