Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that the forklift is in good working condition by completing the checklist before operating the machine

Report damages or faults to the Line Manager

Ensure correct stock is picked and loaded by checking quantity, quality, description, manufacturing date and best before date.

Count and record the number of pallets loaded

Ensure pallets at the pallet area are sorted by colour code and in a safe manner

Loads of finished goods, raw material and packaging.

Offloading of delivery trucks, checking paperwork vs stock on truck, use foods connect device to record

Transfers finished goods to allocated space in warehouse

Moves product to correct allocation during change overs

Transfers products to bays and checks that they are allocated to correct bays

Removes damaged boxes and repacks pallet
