About the Role

The Staff Connection is seeking a versatile and innovative Multimedia Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality print and digital designs that align with our brand standards. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless design alignment across projects, while maintaining brand consistency across all design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and create print and digital designs aligned with brand standards.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all design outputs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design alignment across projects.
  • Prepare, format, and finalise publication designs for print and digital distribution.
  • Oversee multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high creative standards.
  • Manage and organise digital asset libraries.
  • Design marketing pages, email campaigns, and product catalogues.
  • Develop innovative packaging designs and contribute to creative strategy.
  • Conduct A/B testing and iterate designs based on results.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation for printing.
  • Familiarity with current design trends and best practices.
