About the Role
The Senior Manager: Sales role at Rain is a critical leadership position that requires exceptional sales leadership, operational management, and people management skills to drive business growth and success in our fast-paced call centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a large in-office sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture focused on accountability, productivity, and results.
- Coach team leaders and sales agents to improve performance and drive continuous development.
- Manage performance through regular reviews, feedback, and performance improvement plans where required.
- Ensure sales operations run efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high activity volumes.
- Monitor daily performance metrics, call volumes, conversion rates, and sales targets.
- Implement and maintain effective sales processes and operational controls.
- Work closely with workforce management, training, and quality assurance teams.
- Establish clear processes and ensure teams adhere to operational and compliance standards.
- Use performance data and reporting to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive operational discipline and consistency across multiple teams and team leaders.
- Manage large groups of employees and maintain engagement in a high-pressure environment.
- Resolve escalations and support team leaders with employee management.
- Promote a collaborative and resilient team culture.
- Work closely with operations, HR, training, and commercial teams to support business objectives.
- Ensure alignment between sales goals and operational delivery.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of sales experience
- At least 5 years managing large sales teams in a call centre or high-volume sales environment
- Proven experience managing team leaders and large groups of employees
- Strong experience in process management and operational sales environments
