Waterberg: Trails Guide

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Trails Guide to join our team in the beautiful Waterberg region. As a Trails Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of tourists on hiking trails, providing expert guidance and ensuring their safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead groups of tourists on hiking trails
• Provide expert guidance and instruction on trail etiquette and wilderness survival skills
• Ensure the safety and well-being of group members at all times
• Maintain accurate records of group activities and client feedback
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute guided tours

Requirements

• Minimum FGASA level 1 (NQF2)
• Full Trails qualification (Back up trails guide working towards Full Trails Guide)
• Valid Wilderness First aid certification
• Valid PrDP (Professional Development Programme) certification
• Valid ARH (Adventure Response Helicopter) certification
• SAPS business competency for rifles
• Great organisational skills
• Mature nature
