Vacancy: Paint Mixer (Tinter) & Internal Sales Agent Job Details: Position: Paint Mixer (Tinter) & Internal Sales Agent Field: Retail (Paint & Hardware Industry) Region: Pretoria (Moot Area) Job Description: Ligpos is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable individual for an established retail business in Pretoria. This role is ideal for someone who can combine technical proficiency in paint tinting with excellent internal sales and customer service skills. We are looking for a loyal team member capable of providing in-depth product advice and confidently assisting customers with paint and waterproofing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Technical Tinting: Performing precise color matching and operating specialized tinting systems. Internal Sales: Receiving customers in-store, assessing their needs, and actively promoting/selling products. Product Advice: Providing technical information regarding paint, waterproofing, and application techniques. Customer Service: Maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and professional service. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Critical Requirements: Language Proficiency: Fluent in at least three official languages; Afrikaans is essential given the specific customer base. Technical Skill: Proven experience in color matching and knowledge of paint and waterproofing products. System Knowledge: Experience with tinting systems (e.g., Largotint ) is highly recommended. Qualification: Matric / Grade 12 Certificate. Advantageous Requirements: Basic computer literacy (for Point of Sale systems). Basic mathematics for calculating paint volumes and requirements. Good interpersonal relationships and organizational abilities. Basic Traits: Honesty & Loyalty: We require an individual with impeccable integrity. Reliability: Punctuality is non-negotiable. Attitude: A humble and service-oriented mindset (no arrogance). Work Environment: Location: The store is situated in the Moot region of Pretoria. Type: Full-time and on-site. Terms & Conditions: Commencement Date: 01 April 2026. Working Days: 6 days per week (Fixed workweek). Saturdays are a 5-hour workday. Contract: 3-month probation period with the prospect of a permanent appointment. Leave: According to statutory requirements (Sick leave, Family Responsibility leave, etc.). Remuneration: Salary: R8,000 per month (Gross). Growth: Opportunities for promotion are available for candidates who prove their worth. Ligpos – Pos Vakature: Verfmenger & Interne Verkoopsagent Posbesonderhede: Posbenaming: Verfmenger (Tinter) & Interne Verkoopsagent Arbeidsveld: Kleinhandel (Verf- en Hardewarebedryf) Streek: Pretoria (Moot-omgewing) Beskrywing van die Pos: Ligpos is op soek na ‘n energieke en kundige individu vir ‘n gevestigde kleinhandelonderneming in Pretoria. Hierdie rol is ideaal vir iemand wat tegniese vaardigheid in verf-inkleur (tinting) kan kombineer met uitstekende interne verkope en kliëntediens. Ons soek ‘n lojale spanlid wat diepgaande produkadvies kan gee en kliënte met selfvertroue kan help met verf- en waterdigtingsoplossings. Pos Pligte en Sleutelwerksaamhede: Tegniese Inkleuring: Uitvoering van presiese kleurpassing (color matching) en die gebruik van gespesialiseerde inkleurstelsels. Interne Verkope: Ontvangs van kliënte in die winkel, behoeftebepaling en aktiewe verkope van produkte. Produkadvies: Verskaffing van tegniese inligting oor verf, waterdigting en aanwendingstegnieke. Kliëntediens: Handhawing van ‘n hoë standaard van kliëntetevredenheid en professionele diens. BOEHOEFTE VEREISTES VIR POS: Kritiese Vereistes: Taalvaardigheid: Vlot in ten minste drie amptelike tale, waarvan Afrikaans noodsaaklik is vir die spesifieke kliëntebasis. Tegniese Vaardigheid: Bewese ondervinding in kleurpassing en kennis van verf- en waterdigtingsprodukte. Stelselskennis: Ondervinding met inkleurstelsels (bv. Largotint ) is ‘n sterk aanbeveling. Kwalifikasie: Matriek/Graad 12 sertifikaat. Voordelige Vereistes: Basiese rekenaargeletterdheid (vir “Point of Sale” stelsels). Basiese wiskunde vir die berekening van verfvolumes en snylyste. Goeie menseverhoudings en organisatoriese vermoëns. Basiese Eienskappe: Eerlikheid & Lojaliteit: Ons soek ‘n persoon met onberispelike integriteit. Betroubaarheid: Stiptelikheid is ononderhandelbaar. Houding: ‘n Nederige en diensbare ingesteldheid (geen arrogansie nie). Werksomgewing: Ligging: Die winkel is geleë in die Moot-streek van Pretoria. Tipe: Voltyds en op die perseel. Dienperiodes & Voorwaardes: Indiensneming: 01 April 2026. Werksdae: 6 dae per week (Vaste werksweek). Saterdae is ‘n 5-uur werksdag. Kontrak: 3 maande proeftydperk met die oog op ‘n permanente aanstelling. Verlof: Volgens statutêre vereistes (Siekverlof, Gesinsverantwoordelikheidsverlof ens.). Vergoeding: Salaris: R8,000 per maand (Bruto). Groei: Geleenthede vir bevordering is beskikbaar vir kandidate wat hulself bewys.
