Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Tool Fitter to join our team. The Machine Tool Fitter will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining machine tools and machinery according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fit mechanical parts of machinery and equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to perform accurate assembly and fitting.
Conduct precision measurement and testing of assembled components.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Tool Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
