About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group HR Business Partner to oversee and drive the human resources function across our portfolio of high-end properties. As a strategic yet hands-on leader, you will be passionate about people, culture, and delivering excellence in line with luxury brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full HR function across the group, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence
- Drive recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier candidates within the luxury hospitality sector
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Foster a positive organizational culture that reflects the values of a luxury brand
- Manage training, learning, and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and growth
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and best practices
- Provide guidance and support to management on all HR-related matters
Requirements
- South African citizen (essential)
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification (essential)
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment
- Experience working with high-end or luxury brands, ideally within hotels
- Experience in opening new hotels highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices
