About the Role
The Jet Park CNC Department Manager will oversee the daily operations of our CNC department, ensuring efficient production and quality control. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in workshop management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to CNC operators
- Set up and operate CNC machines using Solid works drawings and CAM Auto
- Ensure correct tooling selection and application for production
- Conduct Production & Quality Control
- Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues proactively
- Oversee productivity and performance of CNC machines in the workshop
- Plan and manage workflow with the Fabrication department
- Monitor machine utilisation to minimise downtime
- Implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC machining and workshop supervision at least 5 years
- Proven knowledge of lathes and milling machines (including 4th and 5th axis machines)
- Proficient in FANUC and Mazitrol language
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with or worked in an ISO approved company
