About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) space, is seeking a mature and experienced Chartered Accountant to step into a 6-month contract role. This unique opportunity allows for strategic leadership and operational oversight of a team of approximately 30 individuals, ensuring the smooth delivery of investment reporting services while the business focuses on a critical project.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on the day-to-day delivery of investment reporting services to institutional clients
- Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Lead, support, and guide direct reports and the broader team on people management and performance
- Deliver monthly reporting to internal management committees and governance forums
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the investment reporting value chain
- Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to reporting standards and controls
Requirements
- Education: Qualified CA(SA) non-negotiable
- Experience: Minimum 810 years post-qualification experience
- Proven experience within pension fund audits, asset management, or fund administration
- Strong exposure to investment reporting environments
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams
