About the Role
The Operations and Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting daily logistics and operational activities to ensure efficient and compliant operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operations are executed in an appropriate, safe and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate and communicate daily operational tasks and activities across teams.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices; document SOPs.
- Manage operational finance activities related to operations (track, reconcile and check invoices, petty cash, delivery charges).
- Support drivers and delivery operations; plan routes and manage schedules.
- Monitor health & safety compliance for field and warehouse activities.
Requirements
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Matric.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
