About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centurion: Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our payroll operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of employee transactions, reporting, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to best practices and efficient processes in payroll management
- Oversee employee, transaction, and reporting activities
- Conduct monthly payroll reviews and payrolls reconciliations
- Prepare monthly payroll reports on salary structuring and assistance
- Manage systems and processes for payroll operations
- Supervise team members and provide guidance and support
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management skills to plan, prioritize, and organize
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Payroll Manager role
- Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
- Diploma/degree in Finance Qualification or Payroll Qualification
- Sage 300 People Payroll System certification
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sage 300 People Payroll
- Legislative knowledge (SARS, BCEA, LRA)
